Farassan Reka Coupling

Since the joining methods of FARATEC pipes are considered as cold work joining system, FARATEC pipe network could be installed easily and safely in environments containing explosive materials. Generally, joining systems of FARATEC pipes can be classified in two groups named rigid and flexible (unrestrained). REKA Coupling is a flexible type of joint which is designed for underground applications. This joint is very easy to install, so it decreases the installation time and cost. In REKA coupling joints, angular and axial deflection between two pipes could occur. The allowable angular deflection values have been presented in FARATEC pipes catalogue. This type of joint acts like an expansion joint and therefore the pipe is free of axial stress.
