I find it impossible to reconcile what has happened: that someone who has contributed so much to human understanding has been met with such vicious opposition. I am exhausted by the prevalence of intellectual mediocrity in positions of authority, exhausted by the effort of arguing against those who will not reason, and exhausted by the struggle in general. For the sake of my own sanity, I must stop. I cannot continue as things stand. To my supporters: thank you sincerely for your encouragement. You have acquired genuine knowledge, and I hope you will pass it on so that it is not lost. In the end, I take some comfort in the conviction that the universe is governed by a higher will, and that what is true will not ultimately be suppressed. I am not a narcissist, a sociopath, or a psychopath, and I do not suffer from any mental illness. I have severe depression, but I do not regard it as a disease. It is, rather, a mark of the thinking mind — those incapable of deep thought are equally incapable of deep suffering. I care about humanity. I regret the intemperate language I have sometimes used against my opponents. It does not mean they are right — they are wrong. But hatred corrodes the one who carries it more than the one it is directed at, and I must be free of it. I am not a crank. That label is a grave injustice. A mind with this degree of clarity appears rarely in history — only the Ancient Greeks were my equals. I am not without faults, but my work is sound. When I am gone (hopefully sooner rather than later), those who dismissed me will look for what I produced and find it too late. They have defamed me, destroyed my career, and denied my humanity. I leave that on their conscience. To those who have supported and cared for me: I am sorry that I cannot continue. You do not need me — you need only to think rigorously with well-defined concepts, which I have spoken about at length. Rejecting true knowledge is not a neutral act; it draws one deeper into confusion. Truth is not determined by institutional consensus or formal decree.
