Feral Pigs and Invasive Grasses are among the most problematic pests when it comes to breadfruit farming in Hawaiʻi. In an attempt to find out what works best, a group of our farmers participated in some farmer-led research through a 3 year field trial with WSARE. From tree cages to tires, mowing, mulching, and weedmat - they go over the pros and cons and much more in this discussion at our 2025 Annual Member Meeting in Hilo.
