Crowdrender is a software addon for Blender that makes rendering faster. We're community supported and just passed another funding milestone which means V0.3.0 of our software is available from our website for free :D
Crowdrender works by using more than one computer to render single frames (and it can do animations to). You might have heard of a render far, distributed rendering or network rendering. These are all terms for the same concept of accelerating rendering by using multiple computers to render frames of the animation or even just one frame.
Crowdrender supports Blender 2.80 right up to 3.0, the freely available versions of which are currently able to support up to blender 2.92.
We have a development fund which is funded solely by users from the Blender community. Our goal is to release an open sourced version of this addon once our project has sufficient support to fund development.
