Fender have just released their Godzilla Distortion pedal, a fitting homage to the classic 1954 movie and creature of the same name. The Godzilla Distortion is a grainy, unforgiving, lo-fi adventure into dirtsville that for me, at least, conjures and inspires doom-laden riffs and sounds that are a ton of fun. Kind of like a cold and dark bay with an angry, oversized lizard wading through it on its way to the shore for some terrestrial wreckage action. Definitely worth a shot if that's your thing.
