Fermented Salsa - Fermentation Made Easy Part 3
Today we're making Fermented Salsa. We are trying to make more ferments we can use in our daily meals and snacks. This is a great one to enjoy with chips, or on eggs, or with mixed vegetables. If you're like me, you love salsa and get pretty bored with the store bought cans. Most are bland and have something missing. We're going to make our own salsa that you could never buy, this is one of a kind. What you'll need; 1. Fermented Radish Juice from another previous video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R5SXtRwBq-M 2. Fresh tomatoes 3. Peppers(optional) 4. Onions(optional) 5. Salt - I really like Pink Himalayan salt, buying in large quantities is MUCH cheaper - http://amzn.to/2aZOMZg (affiliate) 6. Herbs of your choice - coriander or cilantro, are a must for me, but you can make this your own! Cut all your tomatoes and peppers in bite sized pieces and salt as you go, my general rule of thumb is when you think its too much salt, its probably just enough. Add your herbs and spices and your radish juice, and let it set on the counter for 1-2 weeks. I stir mine about twice a day usually. Thanks for watching!
