30.7.2011.........Added another fern bed to the garden today. Cut back hard into an established Laurel to create an area of dappled shade, lifted the paviors and added about 2 tonnes of soil, some logs etc. Some varying ferns used eg Matteuccia struthiopteris, cyathea cooperi, Polystichum polyblepharum, Dicksonia Fibrosa as well as other plantings such as crocosmia, astilboides tabularis, foxgloves, hosta's, coleus etc
