After sitting for a few months, I pulled the boat out to prep it for the water. That means running the motor, charging the trolling battery, checking safety gear, and going through the trailer.
Most of it goes smoothly… until it doesn’t.
It’s a good reminder that owning a boat isn’t just about being on the water — it’s about everything that happens before you ever get there.
Just a quick walk-through of my prep process and a look at the realities of getting back out after some time off.
