Finding a Maximum Overall Length with Minimum Tools Needed

This is a look at what I’ve come up with when you’re trying to find a maximum overall length with any bullet and any cartridge. Here is a how to find an OAL when reloading 6.5 Creedmoor. The bullet I’m using is a Hornady 140 grain ELD Match bullet using Atlas Development Group large rifle primer brass. A Hornady bullet comparator is definitely helpful to ensure no bullet tip deformities are causing problems. For soft point spritzer Bullets like the Sierra Gameking I highly suggest getting the bullet comparator. It is not absolutely necessary though.
