“Finding the Simon’s”
“Finding the Simon’s” In Lord of the Flies, by William Golding a quote that stuck with me is “”Maybe there is a beast...maybe it’s only us.” (Golding, 81). I see people in this book caught up in their ego and selfish needs for power; but then there was Simon. The person that went unnoticed even though he was very important to society. When reading Lord of The Flies, I have noticed how one person can be the holding foundation without even others realizing. In this personal project, I want to highlight the benevolent people in my community. The foundation. Capturing the good in my community that goes unseen by others. I want my community to find their Simon even when surrounded by darkness. I want to thank everyone that was apart of my journey and project. Thank you @tyzillatyzilla for taking the time and contributing into my project. Thank you for giving back and showing what it is to chase your dreams and still remember your community. Thank you @wichangeorg @bossygirlinc for reminding woman that we can lead, create, and inspire. Reminding us to remember the power we hold.
