Fine tuning deep learning models with the active learning plugin for Napari | Fernando Cervantes | October 29th, Virtual I2K 2024 Authors: Fernando Cervantes, The Jackson Laboratory Description: This is a demo presentation of the active learning plugin for Napari developed by the Research IT department at The Jackson Laboratory. This plugin allows fine tuning deep learning models with large-scale images. That is achieved by using next generation file formats to enable training on larger-than-memory images with low effort. Pre-Workshop Instructions: Have Napari installed, preferably from conda-forge (can be installed with miniforge), and then install the napari-activelearning plugin with pip install napari-activelearning[cellpose] in the same environment where you installed Napari.
