LOX – Low oxygen fire tests During the past month, our colleagues from the Testing & Quality Control Department have been running several low-oxygen fire tests in our brand-new testing chamber. In this video you will see a test performed with empty cardboard boxes, showing the difference between a low oxygen environment (17% oxygen level) and standard environment (20,9% oxygen level). The oxygen level is lowered by the LOX Fire Prevention system which pumps in nitrogen gas into the protected room in order to lower the ambient oxygen level. The oxygen level measurement in the test space is done using the four - OX® Precision Oxygen Sensors that are fitted in the chamber. If you would like to learn more about the LOX Oxygen Reduction – Fire Prevention System and how a low oxygen environment can protect your warehouse against fire hazard, please visit our website www.fx-prevent.com and get in touch with us.
