First full hive inspection.

This is our first full hive inspection since settling the hive. As you can see my family have joined me. you may notice my son's gloves are to big that because he's wearing mine. his gloves arrived later so he has his own but I think I won't we're my gloves going forward. I know there will be bee casualties during inspections but I want to keep this to a minium and being gloveless makes this easier. You may also notice I haven't used a smoker, this is a conscious decision. I intended to have one to hand just in case but we forgot our lighter so couldn't have one anyway. It's an unedited video with some pictures at the end so it's a bit long. I want you to see how handling a hive as a novice really is, both good and bad. I'm open to constructive comments and opinions. If you spot anything I should be aware of please let me know. I'm still learning.
