First Order Linear Differential Equations is an introduction towards an Integrating factor. First, make sure that the differential equation is in the general form of the First Order Linear Differential Equations. Next, define the variables P(x) and Q(x) and find the integrating factor I(x). Lastly, either plug in the formula or do it manually to solve for y. Three different examples are provided within the video.
