First Step

This track comes from a pretty personal place. I’m getting close to 50, and I’m still chasing down the things on my bucket list, and this right here is another milestone for me. Music has been part of my life since I was a teenager. I’ve always been into writing, playing instruments, experimenting with sounds… but life usually came first, and somehow music stayed in the background. Now I see it differently. It’s never too late, so I’m not waiting around or chasing some perfect moment anymore. I’m just taking the first step and committing to the journey, learning music the “real” way, from the ground up. It’s not easy, but it’s not supposed to be. It’s a rough road, full of mistakes, but that’s where the growth happens. Every setback is something I build on, something that makes me stronger. And I’ve realized something important: doing this alone is the slowest way forward. The real progress comes when you learn from people who’ve already been through it, people who know exactly what you’re going through at every stage, and how to push through when it gets tough. That kind of guidance is priceless. That’s why I’m incredibly grateful to have Dani Bánkuti (Music industry expert, producer, educator and music content creator) guiding me on this journey. So yeah, here I am, almost 50, back to being a student again. But this time, I’m not learning what I’m supposed to learn… I’m learning what I actually want to learn.
