First Time with No Program or Amplitude Changes

Doctor added a 4th program with the Illumina settings just for giggles. Otherwise, felt good to have a more or less "unremarkable" visit. On April 4th 2024, I underwent Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) to treat Essential Tremor (ET), a neurological disorder causing involuntary shaking. Medications haven't sufficed, so DBS was the logical choice. After extensive research and consultations, I'm excited about the life-changing potential. I'll even serve as a 'Patient Ambassador,' sharing my journey. The procedure involves implanting wires in my Thalamus, followed by the installation of the generator resembling a pacemaker.
