Music: Shady Grove by Takenobu (www.takenobumusic.com) I started training parkour in 2007, when I was 14. Since then, I've had tons of opportunities to meet new people, make new friends, create a bunch of great memories, travel to some amazing foreign places, and just enjoy the life God's been generous enough to give me. When I started training, five years always seemed like a huge milestone. Maybe because it's the half-decade mark, I don't really know...but I always hoped I'd be at a really solid level when I'd gotten through five years of training. Now that I have, I made this video so I can look back at some of the challenges and accomplishments I've had in my trainings this year. This is by no means a "showreel," it's just a thing trying to depict bits and pieces of the way I train by showing some hard stuff I finally did after lots of tries ;) Before you all quit reading I'd like to throw in a thank you to Vic and David, the co-founders of WooF PooF, for providing me with so many opportunities to grow as a person and an athlete these past 3 years. I'd also like to thank my fellow training buddies the Squids (youtube.com/SquidSquadd) for being so damned fun to train with, and everyone else I've had the chance to meet/talk/eat/sleep/jump on stuff with. You guys are all amazing! Musically, I'd like to sincerely thank Mr. Nick Ogawa (Takenobu) for giving me his permission to use this amazing song for my video. He's a brilliant musician, and has 4 albums of music to listen to free at www.takenobumusic.com, as well as a few free downloads. If you enjoyed the music in this video, please check out his website! You can also visit him on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/TakenobuMusic. I'd also like to thank Noah Mittman (youtube.com/SnowmanFilms), Steve Zavitz (youtube.com/SteveZavitz), Brandon Pineda (youtube.com/BrandonPineda3), Milo Jasper Finnegan-Money (youtube.com/SedgewickNYPK) and Joonas Purastie (youtube.com/Joenkkoe) for filming and being nice enough to let me use the footage. Thank you guys so much! Without you, I wouldn't have been able to catalogue my progression over the past year :) Anyways, cheers for watching, that's it with all the serious stuff ;) Good luck with your trainings. Have fun and don't be lame! -Max
