Traffic maintenance can involve more than traffic signals... How about a variable message board? A dark variable message board over a highway looks bad. Not only is it not conveying messages to the motoring public, it gives the appearance that the maintenance person is negligent (that person would be me). Luckily, I figured out the repair in a timely manner - along with some help : )
