Fixing the 8BitDo Arcade Controller with a Switch Mod

The 8BitDo Arcade Controller looks great, feels solid in the hand and works wirelessly with basically no latency... well, obviously, there is latency, but none that I could actually feel at least. But the stock switches? That’s where things fall apart. In this video, I go through the full disassembly and switch replacement process to find out if a simple mod can actually fix what makes the controller feel wrong out of the box. No fast-forwarding, no time-lapses, just the full teardown and install with all the annoying bits included. I replaced the original switches with Shadow Hunting ones to get rid of that mushy, unresponsive feel and the metallic ping that made every press feel worse than it should. These aren’t miracle switches. But the difference is instantly noticeable. I need to do a proper session in Tekken and Street Fighter first to see if it's actually better though.
