Fixing the Blackhead Path

The Blackhead Path is a mile long coastal road from the beautiful Victorian town of Whitehead, to the Blackhead Lighthouse. Set just above sea level and with nothing more than a few boulders and a wish to keep the sea at bay, it’s an exhilarating walk at any time of year. Loved by thousands, it’s fallen into disrepair and now needs urgent attention. There’s also a section of it that’s closed to the public for fear of falling rocks. In this video I take a look at the state of the road, talk to visitors on the path and interview a local campaigner who wants the council to take action.
