FL Studio & Ableton Workshop – DAC
The Digital Audio Collective hosted its first workshop at WSU — a hands-on intro to the two most-used DAWs in the club: FL Studio and Ableton Live. Everett Weeks and Mikey Grund led the FL Studio session, walking through the workflow, piano roll, and mixer fundamentals. Gabe Heinrichs led the Ableton Live session, covering session view, arrangement view, and how to start building a track from scratch. Workshops like this are part of what DAC is about — building a space at WSU where students who love music production can learn from each other, share ideas, and grow as artists. We'll be running more of these throughout the semester covering different DAWs, techniques, and gear. If you're a WSU student interested in music production, audio engineering, or sound design, come say hi. We meet Thursdays at 4:15 PM in the Dimensions Lab (Holland Library, Room 120).
