Flash Talks Competition

This competition features young scientists from academia and industry, judged by a panel of science communicators. Participants each delivered a three-minute talk on their thesis or postdoctoral research. Topics included: making improvements to automated external defibrillators; targeting radiotherapy for cancer; the role of light stimulus in chronic migraine; early detection of Alzheimer’s Disease; and drug-resistant malaria.
