Flat Brush Techniques

Welcome to my first painting tutorial! Materials Used: 1/2 inch, 5/8 inch or 1 inch Flat Brush. You can find this in a variety brush pack at an art store like Michaels for cheap. Liquitex Basics Acrylic Paint in Titanium White and Mars Black Water cup, towel and paint palette 18 " x 24 " Canvas Painted Black This lesson will cover all the different ways to use a flat brush and explain how to manipulate paint efficiently. We will talk about calligraphy marks and how to create various types of brush strokes, different ways to hold the brush and techniques I use every single time I paint to control how paint comes off the brush.
