Fleetline fun on Southend 68

Enjoy a ride with me aboard First Ensignbus heritage Leyland Fleetline / ECW 175 (KMW 175P). First we see it at a stop, then we ride the lower saloon as this quite musical 'modern heritage' bus runs from Chalkwell to Leigh-on-Sea, in normal service. Then, we go upstairs for a short section of ride (due to wind noise) just along from Westcliff 'Cafes' to the Pier. We see the bus heading beneath the Pier Bridge before enjoying a full ride from the Pier to the stop before the Sutherland Boulevard terminus on its only journey on this sector of route. New to Swindon's Thamesdown Transport, it has been restored in preservation to Southdown's pleasant green and cream livery. It was working on one day only, on a heritage running day on Southend's seafront service 68 on May 25th 2024, for which it carried a fixed indicator display for the day.
