Difficulty: super difficult Tools needed: basic Material amount needed: high Usability: good Frustrations level: small to medium Recommended materials and tools - 2,5 mm (6 oz) veg. tanned leather - 3,5 mm (9 oz) veg. tanned leather - 20 mm (0.8 inch) wide backpack straps, about 3 m (9 feet) - Rivets [medium size: ~9 mm (~0.35 inch) head diameter, ~8 mm (~0.31 inch) length - 4x Sam Brown rivets or similar closures - 2x Loxx attachment for leather as attachment to the body on the shoulder - You need a lot of screw rivets (chicago screws), shaft thickness 5 mm (0.4 inch), for BOTH SHOULDERS together you need them with a shaft length of X this many times: - 72x 6 mm (¼ inch) - 8x 8 mm (0.31 inch) - 2x 18 mm (¾ inch) you can use a screw with washer here If you have rivets that that are slightly longer just use washers of the same size, but put them in between the layers of leather to make sure the do not hinter the movement.
