Flintknapping: Antler Punch Thinning for Beginners

I hope this video helps those of you interested in antler Knapping. I forgot to mention that the antler is stretched to the wood with a drilled hole and pine sap glue. It can be reheated and removed when the punch needs to be replaced. A good place to get antlers is from feed stores, but if you’re looking to get them high quality and lower unit cost, I personally recommend buying from The Antler Store online.
