Flip Out Fun Fold

You are going to love this fun fold card! The center design will flip out as you open the card! I am featuring the Designer Series Paper Zoo Crew because it is loaded with adorable animals, which make the perfect design element for this whimsical birthday card. I also give some tips along the way for partial die cutting to extend the length of my banner die cut, and changing the color of a colored ribbon. Of course, I have plenty of other samples to illustrate this amazing fun fold, so please watch until the end! Although fun folds can be intimidating, this one is pretty straight forward. One thing that makes it easy to do is nesting dies. I use the Stylish Shapes dies in the video, but other great ones to use are Countryside Corners, Something Fancy, Deckled Rectangles, Nested Essentials and Scalloped Contours. I also show a card that doesn't use nesting dies at all - it's quite lovely and has a softer look.
