Step by step instructions for a basic triggerfish fly. This pattern follows the profile of classic bonefish flies like the Gotcha or Charlie, but is tied on a heavy Owner fly liner to help cope with the triggerfish's teeth (they'll bite through you tiemcos). These flies also work very well for bonefish and are a good each way bet if bonefishing somewhere that has triggers in the vicinity. www.flickingfeathers.blogspot.com twitter@flickinfeathers www.flytyersdungeon.com RECIPE Hook: Owner fly liner 6-1 Thread:6/0 to suit Weight: bead chain or dumbells Tail: Crystal flash Body: Crystal flash coated with head cement or resin Wing: Arctic fox and crystal flash Legs: Silli legs of your choice
