The junkyard dog is one of my favorite streamer patterns, it is really fun to tie and is very effective to fish. I have a medium-fast action 5 wt and it can throw this fly with no problems even with the added weight which makes it a versatile fly as well. If you'd like to see the original, here is a link to Mike's blog: http://anglerschoiceflies.blogspot.com/2013/04/acf-step-by-step-junk-yard-dog.html Materials I used to tie this fly: Hooks: Gamakatsu B10S size 1 (front) and 2 (rear) Articulation wire: 25lb test lamenated beading wire Beads: Purple Glass beads Tails (Front and rear): Cream Marabou Collar (Rear): Cream Marabou Wing (Rear): Brown Temple Fox Body (Rear): UV Copper Polar Chenille Eyes: 6.3 mm Real Eyes Plus Body (Ront): Tan Temple Fox/ Brown Temple Fox head: Senyo's Laser Dub Tan Music - "Darian Gap" by Josh Woodward.
