"Aldebaran" is off FM's first album "Black Noise". This album was originally intended to be the sound track for a CBC Radio sci-fi drama. The music however, took on a life of it's own and the first track, "Phasor's on Stun" became FM's best known song.
The mandoline into on "Aldebaran" is quite similar to 'Phasors", however, the song soon goes in a totally different direction to become an epic tribute to space exploration.
The spacy/sci-fi montage is an effort to remain true to the original theme of the song.
