JANUARY AGENDA Kevin Frank: Layout Calculations and FM/LibXL Integration In FileMaker 20.2+ If you've been looking for use cases for FileMaker's new layout calculation feature, or if you've ever wished you could say yes to client requests to produce full-featured Excel spreadsheets from FileMaker Pro, you won't want to miss Kevin Frank's session. Layout Calcs: Introduced in FM 20.2, layout-level calculations are something developers have been requesting for a long time, and while the basic implementation is straightforward, we will dig into some interesting nuances and behaviors. FM/LibXL: we're going to take a look at an easy way to programmatically generate spreadsheets from FileMaker by leveraging LibXL, an "Excel library for developers" (https://www.libxl.com).
