FNLKG 2021 Learners Panel - Bronte Big Eagle

Originally aired September 21, 2021 - 10:40am to 12:00pm First Nations Language Keepers Gathering 2021 - Our Sacred Languages Walk With Us Bronte Big Eagle is from Ocean Man First Nation who has written, and sometimes illustrated, a children’s book series in the Nakoda language. The books feature legends of dinosaurs. He keeps the tradition of storytelling, transferring knowledge and life lessons with the goal of reviving the Nakoda language. This panel is comprised of people who are actively learning their language and would like to encourage others to speak their language. Through their language journeys, they are coming to know that everything has a spirit, including our languages.
