FOB Devil Defense

F.O.B. Devil marks the forward position of the U.S. advance into Vietnam. During the last few days, VC infantry has been shelling the outskirts of the F.O.B. during the day, assaulting it at night. The engineering corps has cleared some of the jungle and built up multiple defensive lines. During last night’s assault, the VC managed to nearly breach F.O.B. Devil, eliminating half of 3rd Platoon in the progress. Now, 1st Platoon is to be rotated into the defense. Unfortunately, during the last defense the base helicopter got shot down, and MACV has not assigned a new one to the base yet, and current intel suggests that PAVN forces have arrived and will assault together with the VC.
