In this video, I show you how to use the Focus Shift feature of the Nikon D850 to create a focus stacked landscape image. Watch as I take the Nikon D850 to Dartmoor National Park in Devon to photograph the twin waterfalls at Venford. While on location I show you how I configure the Focus Shift feature to capture a series of images at different focus points throughout the scene. Later I show you how to focus stack the images into a single image using Photoshop. I also take you through the processing of a previous image which has a few additional challenges due to the moving elements in it. If you'd like to see any of the images featured in this video in a bit more detail, remember to head on over to my blog at: https://julianbaird.me/blog/2018/6/15/focus-shift-stacking-with-the-nikon-d850 If you're interested, here is some of the gear I used to make this video: Video shot with a Sony RX100M4 (http://amzn.to/2eDyOIS) Audio recorded using a Rode Smartlav + (http://amzn.to/2wMJh8x) and a Zoom H1 (http://amzn.to/2gyGPfd) Video edited in Adobe Premiere CC (http://amzn.to/2iX4la4) Images shot on a Nikon D850 (http://amzn.to/2eZiNxd) with a Nikkor 16-35mm f/4 VR (http://amzn.to/2D0PzZx) I also used these filters: Lee Filters Circular Polariser (http://amzn.to/2DMeCQq) Images processed in Adobe Lightroom CC and Adobe Photoshop CC (http://amzn.to/2eDw8uC) Some of the links used are Amazon affiliate links.
