I was getting frustrated with airlines and cords laying on the floor. I bought galvanized 22mm pipes and press fittings for the pipes. My good friend has a plumbing company and I was allowed to borrow his press tool. I had some of the airline connectors ready and I bought some. I also had some leftover fittings so I used those. There is press fittings that has a thread for airline connectors available. It was so easy to do the lines with press fittings. Just make sure that the pipe is in the fitting all the way and press the fitting. It's also easy to expand your line if needed. I made a drop of with a connector everywhere I thought I need air. Like above the lathe, workbench and so on. I made a compressor from two broken ones few years back. It's a six cylinder with a 5kw motor :) It super quiet and makes a lot of air fast. My air capacity is now around 300 litres. One thing I need to build is an air dryer. That's a great project for future. Thanks for tuning in to my workshop!
