Webinar with Dr. Courtney Crim, Trinity University
Join Dr. Crim for a webinar exploring the research that explains the connection between spending time in nature and improved well-being. There will be an opportunity to increase your understanding of the major theories surrounding this connection and take a closer look at Attention Restoration Theory, specifically. This focus will also identify how the human/nature connection is effectively supported through the Japanese practice of Shinrin Yoku, or forest bathing. She will discuss a few outdoor activities that can be done with children, as well as adults, and will lead participants in a short forest therapy invitation initiating a full sensory experience with nature.
