forest rain // modular ambient

I was walking in the rain through the forest yesterday and felt a calling to immersive myself in some ambient soundscapes afterwards. I love the sound of the raindrops falling onto the leaves, the smell and tranquility that you feel on a rainy day in nature. With that in mind I started incorporating a forest rain recording and drifted off for some hours. I think I can start working on Sound Journal II now, maybe I'll get to an hour this time? Will have to find out... :) Patch notes: Morphagene is playing the rain recording through Magneto and Monsoon. Alt is playing some evolving melodies which are processed with Qpas, Mimeophon, Starlab and Sealegs. Stardust is playing a processed piano recording into Stereo Dipole and Desmodus Versio. Finally the GR1 is generating a pad sound which is running through Nightverb. Everything is multitracked with optx v2 and mixed a little bit in Ableton.
