It was a ton of fun and ended up being PVFM's biggest ever event, with around 3k unique listers across all the places it could be streamed from. The extra layer of engagement made for a great experience and an awesome few hours spent with some friends. Oceansong has some of my favorite tracks to come from P@D, so I hope everyone who hasn't will check the album out!! --- This track is essentially a VIP of a VIP, definitely not the first and probably not the last time you'll get that sorta thing from me. This one is quite the departure from the last two, however, which is why the name is a bit different this time around and I'm not slapping "VIP" or a year on it. Personally quite pleased how this track came out. It was one of those times where pretty early on in the creation progress, like just the vocals and a chord progression early, I had the song pretty well mapped out in my head in how it was gonna progress through different sections over time. I wanted the production to show some distinct progression throughout the track as well as some clear changes in emotion while staying centered around the same theme/mood. I was a bit worried about the length of the track; over five minutes isn't crazy but it's a ways over the standard runtime people are willing to give up for a Future Bass(ish) song nowadays. But, I was able to tie it all together in a way that satisfied me and hopefully warrants the runtime ~~Hope you enjoy~~
