The ouroboros, or uroboros, is an ancient symbol of a snake or dragon eating its own tail, and it existed in several civilizations including the Egyptians, Chinese and Vikings. The Viking version depicted a serpent eating it's own tail. That's about all I know. I'm a blacksmith not an archaeologist. Enjoy the video!
