Forging Medieval Arrowheads

Blacksmith Forging 12th & 15th Century Wrought Iron Arrowheads. A day in the forge with blacksmith & arrowsmith Will Sherman of medievalarrows.co.uk as he recreates three types of 12th and 15th Century wrought iron arrowheads - the originals of which are to be seen at the Museums of London, Blandford and Winchester. Each arrowhead in this video is identified by either the Museum of London's or Oliver Jessop's typology: First head: Jessop's type M2 mid 15thC now at Winchester Museum (original find Wolvesey Palace); second head: Jessop's type MP3 12th Century now at Blandford Museum; third head: Museum of London Type 16, 15thC.
