As far as I can tell, Forgotten Worlds was the first Capcom release to use the developer's CPS1 arcade hardware. It's an accomplished shoot 'em up with fairly unique control scheme where the player rotates their character to provide 360 degree covering fire.
As with other Capcom games, you'll need to collect coins to buy power-ups from shops situated within each of the levels, and you'll definitely need to stock up on destructive hardware if you hope to reach the end of the game.
