Using this information we will design a fluid system to maximise their success. Different formations require different solutions; - Reactive clay may require treatment to prevent swelling - Filtration control may need to be managed to prevent fluid loss - Gel strength or carrying capacity may need to be added to allow effective hole cleaning.
