In this channel I am expecting to build a community of self-taught web developers. In Sri Lanks some people believe that to become an employee in the Information Technology industry, every individual must have a degree in computer science. Because of this myth, most people give up their dreams. Even though there are leading universities that build opportunities, they are limited to a few private universities like Slit, NSBM, NIBM, Cinec etc.. charge higher course fees. Guys YOU DO NOT REQUIRE a computer science degree to become a software developer, or become any other IT professional, The Information industry is touched by skills, not paper qualifications itself. If you are now aware of required skills , it doesn't matter even if you are a Harvard graduate . If you have the skill set that meets the requirements of the Information Technology Industry, there are plenty of opportunities.
