Foxbody AC Compressor Install

Step by step how to replace/service a Ford AC compressor pulley on a 1989 Mustang. This was done as part of project so it could be sent off for polishing. Procedure is typical of many brands/makes/models. Follows Ford manual. Don't ride around without air conditioning in your Foxbody Mustang. Hub retaining nut torque spec = 55-65 ft-lbs (from Ford manual) Tools used- T80L-19703-B removal tool for outer hub T80L-19703-G to remove compressor pulley bearing from compressor 2 jaw puller - only needed if your bearing is really tight and won't come off Snap ring pliers 1 inch open end wrench 1/2 in socket Spanner or tool to grip compressor hub while torquing retaining nut Feeler gauge
