Fractals Part 1
Facebook: www.facebook.com/runefoshaugmusic HQ audio: runefoshaug.bandcamp.com Maximize the video on your screen, listen to the music (preferrably on good headphones or big speakers), and stare at the center of the screen for a rather trippy experience. When the video finishes, look around you and things will seem to move and change shape before your eyes. :) Probably not recommended for those with epilepsy though. Music composed and performed by Rune Foshaug. Video is a deep Mandelbrot set zoom (it doubles 400 times, to about 2,58 * 10^120 times its original size). If your monitor is 15 inches, by the end of the zoom the original image is about 300,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,00,00,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 (3 * 10^93) times the diameter of the observable Universe. The Mandelbrot set is a mathematical structure that is infinitely detailed. Mandelbrot zoom made with Fractal eXtreme, and post-processed with Sony Vegas movie studio software. Music composed by Rune Foshaug, using Propellerhead Reason + rack extensions and samples from an old Yamaha PS-20 keyboard as well as samples from the classic Korg Minipops 7 drum machine.
