Fragile Space was a performance/video work that showed me building a transparent cage around myself with a hand torch. The cage was transparent, hardly visible and looked fragile. As the cage grew more, it became harder to move my body. Even so, I deliberately entrapped myself into it. At the end,unlike Entrapment, I broke out of the cage and left it.
The work was initiated by my experience of depression. I wanted to visualize a social and psychological blockage that people create around them.
