Framer Update: Quick Insert
Framer's Quick Actions menu now lets you insert components instantly with just a keyboard shortcut. Type command K (or control K on Windows), search for any component, and drop it straight into your design. This update makes working with large component libraries a breeze. The Quick Actions menu already helped you navigate pages and perform specific actions. Now it also lets you insert components directly onto your canvas or into existing layouts. Simply select where you want the component, bring up the menu, type its name, and hit enter. No more scrolling through long asset panels or switching away from your layers view. This feature really shines in larger projects where your assets panel might contain dozens or even hundreds of components. You can search by component name or use action keywords like "insert" to see all available components. The same menu also lets you jump straight to a component's canvas for editing. 0:00 Quick Actions menu overview 0:30 Navigating pages with Quick Actions 0:46 Inserting components on canvas 1:20 Adding components to layouts 1:55 Managing large component libraries 2:30 Using action keywords Topics covered: rapid prototyping, UI component management, keyboard shortcuts for design 🌞 Start for free: https://framer.link/yt 📚 Learn more at: https://framer.link/yt-academy 💎 Join the Community: https://framer.link/yt-community 🎉 Follow on X: https://framer.link/yt-x
