Framer Update: Version History
Version history just got a major upgrade. Now you can restore entire responsive sections from past iterations, complete with all their breakpoints intact. This update makes recovering lost work faster and preserves your responsive design settings automatically. Access version history through the app menu under File → Version History (Command+Shift+H on Mac, Control+Shift+H on Windows), or use Quick Actions (Command+K). Framer saves versions every 10 minutes during active editing by you or collaborators. The enhanced recovery features let you copy individual elements or entire sections between versions. When pasting sections, Framer recognizes existing layers and offers to replace them while maintaining their responsive breakpoints. This means you can restore a dark mode FAQ section from an earlier version without breaking your current responsive setup.
