We are doing Framing in our shop, the old method of marking with a tape measure and lining up by hand is a waste of time, these things make really fast work of that job, and do a great job of getting the stud to line up properly with the surface. This is a BIG thumbs up must have if you are doing any framing. Will save you a lot of time.
