Franky & Mini [Minky] | "Secret"

Some of you are probably wondering why now? Why barely in the 5th season? Let me just say, I've watched this series since the beginning. I've pretty much loved most of the characters and the way of the writing for the story, but no one told me they would be writing a character like "Franky Fitzgerald." She is what makes me WANT to continue watching this season. Dakota Blue Richards (Golden Compass) portrays the character in such a fantastic way that you'd have to watch it in order to understand. It's so complex in which you have her character Franky who is portrayed as the loner of the group. Doesnt fit in, especially cause of her androgynous style and boyish hair cut. But it's what makes her HER. Then you have the simple side of her who befriends the bitchy, stuck up girl (Mini) who just wants to feel normal. Franky just wants to be her friend in attempt to satisfy her simple side.. SPOILER ALERT FOR SEASON 5 ____________________________ For those of you who don't know, Franky does not label herself as "lesbian, bisexual, or anything else" She's a person and is in to PEOPLE. Which I think a lot of people mistake for her being a butch. But she's not. Her hair cut and clothes are just apart of her personality. The thing that I love is that the writers created a character who is "attracted" to a boy, and want to explore that, even though she DRESSES like a boy. Cue in this video.Now I had no intention of doing a Skins vid this season, but the dynamic between Franky and Mini is so palpable it's ridiculous. Seriously. This is another thing I love about the series this year. Franky's character is shown to really be interested in individuals instead of labeling herself. You'll see more of what I mean in this video. I had a great time making this and consider this a shout out to all the Minky shippers on FanForum!! :D Keep the love alive guys!! If any of you have questions, comments concerns, please let me know :) Oh and btw, if you are a Matty/Franky shippers, please don't write hateful comments about this pairing. How would you like it if I went on your videos and cussed up a storm, stating why something will happen between these two next season. I will seriously find out where you live and beat the crap out of you. No joke. Anyway, enjoy!!!!
